You know! The guy on the Manta board this month with the spell that may or may not turn people and things into sheep. It wasn't his intent to turn people into sheep, he wanted something different.
It's a polymorph spell. That you could use on literally any target, living or not.
So if he sort of knows how to do that, then he must know at least something about magic and how it works. Right?

Aah, I avoided that one, fortunately. But not sure if that would be the right type of magic to look into.
Honestly what we'd need to know is what this magic runs on. In my world it's aether, but the energy here is different. I sit from the earth itself? The air? A product of something else? After that it would be creating a device that can pull directly from that source that we in turn can draw from.
But there would be ramifications for such a thing.

It worked perfectly well until the string snapped. Quite unfortunate, but I attribute it to my cat's rough play rather than the material.

I don't mind! I need to get out of my room more and explore the land and honestly our island...
I'm familiar. I used to make a lot of special operations outfits for my husband and his crew.

It's not for me, actually, though I am a bit curious myself. Someone made a request as he wishes to explore the depths of the oceans and wanted a protective suit for it.
Now I'm actually not so familiar with these outside of what some basic ones I've seen around, so if you can tell me more about them and how they work, it would be appreciated.
